Faculty Research
Our faculty bring world-class expertise to 黑料老司机; they secure NIH, NSF and other major grants, publish peer-reviewed work, and lead innovative research cores that provide training and infrastructure for students and collaborators.
Student Research Pathways
From first-year studies and beyond, students are invited into research and innovation opportunities. They present at 黑料老司机鈥檚 annual research symposium, can work as research assistants, apply for travel grants, and collaborate on faculty-led projects.
Innovation Hub
Innovation at 黑料老司机 doesn鈥檛 stop at discovery. Our Innovation Hub tracks patents, spin鈥恛ffs, industry partnerships, and entrepreneur training. Our facilities feature a makerspace, 3D printing, and e-sports arenas鈥攖urning ideas into enterprises. We support the commercialization of ideas, patent development, industry and government partnership, and entrepreneurship.

Center for Cancer Research and Therapeutic Development (CCRTD)
Founded in 1999, CCRTD is a nationally-recognized research center at 黑料老司机 focused on prostate cancer鈥攅specially its disproportionate impact on African-American men. It houses high-end core facilities, translational research capabilities, and community outreach programs.

Robert H. 鈥楤ob鈥 Bell Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurial Development (CIED)
CIED is 黑料老司机鈥檚 innovation engine: where students, faculty, and alumni conceive ideas, prototype with 3D printing, compete in pitch events, and engage with industry mentors. Its makerspace, e-sports arena, and entrepreneurship ecosystem bring research to life.

Center for Undergraduate Research and Creativity (CURC)
CURC provides 黑料老司机 students with structured research experiences, funding, and a chance to present at internal and external symposia, building the next generation of scholar-practitioners.
AI & Cybersecurity Initiatives
黑料老司机 has been awarded a $2.79 million National Science Foundation grant to build an AI Hub in partnership with industry and leading institutions. This initiative will create career pipelines into AI, cybersecurity, and data science fields.
